Description

The hardness tester impresses with its ease of use. Yet the hardness tester is no bigger than a standard ballpoint pen. This makes it easy to carry out measurements anywhere using the hardness tester. Non-destructive surface hardness measurement is carried out by an impact body which strikes the metal and then displays the measurement value directly on the screen.

With the hardness tester, the parameters HRC, HRB, HRA, HB, HV and HS can be determined on materials such as steel, cast steel, alloyed tool steel, stainless steel, grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron, aluminium cast alloy, brass, bronze and tin bronze. Furthermore, the hardness tester has an internal data memory; however, it should be noted that this cannot be read out via a computer. The measuring principle of the hardness tester is the rebound method using a type D impact device.
