Description

The hardness tester has been developed for measuring the hardness of metallic materials. The hardness tester measures material hardness in Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell, Leeb and Shore. The hardness tester measures hardness using the Leeb rebound principle. A striking pin strikes the workpiece via an impact body, and the metal hardness is measured based on the rebound. The hardness tester is equipped with an illuminated colour display.

The buttons on the hardness tester are also backlit. This ensures that the display remains clearly legible even in poor lighting conditions. The impact device is connected to the hardness tester via a cable. The hardness tester has an internal memory capacity of 6 x 100 sets of measured values. This memory thus allows the measured values to be documented. The measured values can be transferred from the hardness tester to a PC via software using the integrated USB and WiFi interfaces. The hardness tester is powered by standard 1.5 V AA batteries, which ensure an operating time of around 50 hours.
