Description

The ultrasonic hardness tester impresses with its high precision, versatility and user-friendly operation, ensuring reliable hardness measurements in industrial settings. The device supports several hardness scales such as HV, HRC, HB and HRB and allows measurements in any direction (360°). The large TFT colour display clearly shows the measurement results. The ultrasonic hardness tester offers high repeatability of ±3% for HV and HB, and ±1.5% for HRC and HRB. The ability to store up to 150 measurement values enables efficient documentation of test results, which can be accessed on the device.

The ultrasonic hardness tester features various measurement modes, including single measurement and averaging of 3, 5 or 10 measurements. The results display with tolerance assessment shows immediately whether the measured values lie within the defined range. UCI calibration is available for various materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and user-defined materials. Operation is via an intuitive menu with navigation and function keys.

The ultrasonic hardness tester operates on standard AA batteries and offers a runtime of 6 to 8 hours. Its robust construction and compliance with the ASTM A1038 standard make the device ideal for use in quality assurance, materials testing and industrial manufacturing. Typical applications include hardness testing of metals, workpieces, components and welds in production, in the laboratory and during incoming goods inspection.
