The digital durometer for Shore A is primarily used for soft rubber, elastomers, natural rubber, neoprene, polyester, cast resin, soft PVC, leather, etc. If the test specimen is thin, it should be reinforced on the reverse side with another specimen of the same material to increase the thickness.
